We are one of a handful of Certificated Locations nationally on the Caravan and Motorhome network which operate super-pitches. All five pitches are all-weather super pitches which can be accessed by a chipping track. We can accommodate the largest caravans and motorhomes during any weather. Each pitch has its own service post for you to access our site facilities.
Certified locations commonly have Electric points with the amperage supplied is often as low as five amps. As a new site, we have installed a state of the art Electric Hookup specification, enabling you to have a full 16 amp supply to your caravan or motorhome, to prevent those frustrating trip-outs during your stay. There is also a energy efficient courtesy light on your pitch, which is operated by a dusk to dawn photocell.

All pitches have Wireless Internet access. The site is serviced by a high speed fibre optic superfast broadband internet connection with a download of 76 megabits per second, and upload of 20 megabits per second. Many of our visitors use our Internet connection for streaming TV, and for keeping in contact with family back home – one was even using Facetime to show her grand-daughter our site!
All pitches have a mains fresh water tap, with a screw type fitting. This enables you to connect your Aquaroll with a mains adapter or to use a Whale Aquasource mains adapter to maintain a constant supply of water to your caravan. Alternately, we can supply you with short length of food grade hose for those who have manual water carriers.
All pitches have grey water drains for you to connect your caravan to save the hassle of disposing of your grey water. This also saves you carrying your Wastemaster. Grey water waste hose of around 2m will be adequate to connect your caravan to our drains. Alternatively, we have grey water waste hose that we can supply to you on site.
We have a small visitor’s room on site where you’ll find a selection of caravanning essentials, local information, lots of books and magazines and a well stocked fridge. All items are priced and the shop works on an honesty box basis.
The area is ideal for dog walking. You are free to exercise dogs on the farmland, and the beach at Sandy Haven allows dogs all year round. We ask you to keep you dogs on their leads when in the the camping area but you can let them run free on the farmland. Please help us keep the site and farmland clean and safe by picking up after your dogs.
All Certificated Locations on the Caravan and Motorhome Club Network are required to have Chemical Toilet Waste Disposal, Refuse Disposal, and Grey Water Disposal. We have taken pride in the design of these facilities and many of our visitors have said ours are of high quality.
We encourage all visitors to our site to recycle wherever possible. We have facilities for the collection of mixed recycling (paper, cans, tins and plastics), Glass, Food and General waste.
We have also designed our own Grey Water disposal point for visitors who do not use our pitchside grey water drainage. Our aim was to design this so visitors could empty their grey water waste carriers with little effort. The grey water disposal point also has a separate tap for cleaning your grey water carrier.
We have designed our own Chemical Toilet Disposal point. which contains a flushing unit and separate tap for cleaning your chemical toilet cassette.
Our site has earned four national awards since opening at the end of the 2015 season, including the top award from the Caravan and Motorhome, the National CL of the Year Award in 2016 and in 2020 and being shortlisted as one of the top 35 sites in the UK again in 2023.
